Who builds SeedCrypt
SeedCrypt is built by femto7, an independent developer focused on offline security tools for crypto holders. The project started from a simple observation: there was no dedicated, native application to manage and encrypt seed phrases offline on both Windows and Android.
Why SeedCrypt exists
Most crypto holders write their seed phrase on a piece of paper and hope for the best. Paper burns, fades, and anyone who finds it has instant access to the funds. Metal plates solve durability but not confidentiality. Cloud storage is actively dangerous. Generic encryption tools like VeraCrypt work but are not designed for seed phrases and offer no BIP39 validation, no QR export, no multi-location backup.
SeedCrypt fills this gap: a dedicated seed phrase manager that encrypts with AES-256-GCM, stores on your own media (USB, external disk), exports to PDF with QR codes, and works entirely offline. No account, no cloud, no telemetry.
Security approach
Authenticated encryption. The same standard used by governments and financial institutions worldwide.
600,000 iterations for key derivation. Meets current OWASP recommendations.
The app never connects to the internet. No server, no API, no analytics inside the app. Your seeds never leave your device.
